Born on the North Fork of Long Island my family moved us and their business to Delaware in 1972. We were tree farmers, not exactly farming according to the locals but we lived in the middle of nowhere. We all worked on the “farm” had horses and went to Holy Cross high school. I received a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Wesley college and a Master’s in Finance from Long Island University, CW Post. Worked in New York City and also in banking. My when my father became ill he asked for my help back at the nursery for a little while. I stayed and was there for 15 years. Doing everything from driving trucks, planting plants, hiring, firing, sales and initiating a computer system. (It was a long time ago!) I then moved to Connecticut for 20 years. Worked as an office manager and we also had a horse farm. My dual career of being a professional braider began. I concluded I needed to do something different. My Mother was a Realtor on Long Island when woman didn’t do that kind of stuff. She would load us up and show property. After the move to Delaware she got her license here. We all learned a lot from watching her work. Purchasing farms. Seeing how deals came and went. My entire family has a love for land. They aren’t making any more. That’s why I went for the Real Estate License. I moved back home to be near family, a lot has changed however it is still Delaware. Real Estate is different every day. Helping someone buy or sell a home is rewarding. Realtors make a difference in people’s lives.
